Sunday morning
Open time
Our morning service begins with a time for believers to participate — encouragement, Scripture, prayer, teaching, singing, and more — so that we may stir one another up to love and good works, as Hebrews 10:24–25 urges us.
1 Corinthians 14 gives guidance for the use of spiritual gifts in the assembly. In verse 26 Paul writes, “When you come together, each one has a hymn, a lesson, a revelation, a tongue, or an interpretation. Let all things be done for building up.”
Lord’s Supper
We then share the Lord’s Supper: bread and wine in remembrance of Christ’s death and resurrection (Matthew 26:26–29; 1 Corinthians 11:23–26). We welcome any believer who trusts in Jesus Christ to participate, and we encourage each person to examine themselves before the Lord (1 Corinthians 11:27–32).
Sermon
The service concludes with preaching from the Bible — to equip God’s people for service and to proclaim the gospel to all who are present (2 Timothy 4:1–2; Ephesians 4:12; Romans 10:14–15).
